I still remember the times when the few of us, my sis, ur sis, me and u were always playing around downstairs our estate when we were young. Going to school and waiting for the school bus together. Time indeed flies..

I’m really shocked to have heard what has happened to you. No words can express the pain that everyone feels upon knowing about your death. Though we have lost contact with each other ever since we entered our secondary school, but i will never forget having you as my childhood friend. Remember the times when we always played badminton together? I would always scold you for smacking the shuttle cock down causing me to lose and also the times when you will selflessly lend me your roller blade and hold my hand to teach me how to blade. Thank you for creating such wonderful childhood memories for me and thank you for being my friend.

I believe that all the 5 people that caused your death will be face the judgement of the law one day. May God Bless your family and help them to pull through and stay strong during this toughest period. May you rest in peace.

22nd Birthday

 

 

7th September 2011:

Had a simple birthday celebration with sec sch friends at Marina Square area. Poh bought the deal from Groupon for $40 but we can eat $80 worth of food at Waraku Casual Dining! Apparently the food there was not nice..haha..so the conclusion is do not order the recommended ones that they put on the menu. Katsu Don etc is the safest.

Headed to Citylink for some shopping and i was so tempted to get so many stuffs, luckily i controlled myself, save $$$! Overspent these few days. Li bought a dress and she regretted it..nice ma..must wear it more often ya? Settled at TCC for some desserts and tada, they bought me a small slice of cake. Thanks! Thanks for the card and the red packet too! Haha.

I was so tired that day, busy doing my Ecr planning of my timetable at Poh’s house since 9.30am and have been out since the whole morning till night. Poh and I KO-ed when we reached home. LOLS!!

Hmm..and i think i grew fatter..esp my face..OMG..time to apply more Bio Essence Slimming Cream!

I’m just so frustrated at this hour. I hate it when you only think for yourself! Why is it so hard to understand such a simple theory?!

6th August 2011:

Ting, Poh and Zihui have finally came back to SG after a month in Boston/Korea! Had a meet up at Raffles City with the girls to celebrate Poh’s belated 22nd. Dim sum and noodles for our dinner at this particular restaurant. Super long queue..waited for about 20 to 30 mins. They even had a so called “basket” beside us to place our bags in it. Settled at this very princessy cake shop to celebrate Poh’s birthday..sad that this year’s gift was a bit screwed up. We shall be more observant the next year! Haha.. Made Ting’s Bf took many pics for us..Our permament photographer man! Heard many interesting stories.. woo.. Home sweet home thereafter!

15th August 2011:

 

Family birthday celebration for my Aunt and Sis at Vivo’s 黑社会 restaurant =) Not my whole extended family was there. Dim Sum once again! It was my cousin’s treat for this special day..Xie Le! The food there is super good..but considered a bit pricy for dim sum though. My first time visiting this restaurant..the toilet is so cool..all mirrors everywhere till u do not know which one is exactly the toilet door..Lols! Ate till all of us wanted to bust! Awfully chocolate cake! I Love It! But i still think Chef Icon’s chocolate cake tastes a little nicer though. After that heavy lunch, we needed some exercise, so it was a stroll along Sentosa Boardwalk. The sun was scorching hot! Really torturous to walk in the afternoon, and sentosa boardwalk definitely looks much more romantic and nice in the night. Mum bought 818 durian puffs today! Yums!

I’m attending my last lOcal revision for principles of banking and finance module today. Still got quite a number of revision lectures to attend before my first paper which is on the 4th of may! Really can feel the tense now.. Only 2 more week left and yet I still have so much more to study. *Crys* hope that I will be well prepared for my exam. Now I really miss sitting for poly exams.. So much easier and our lecturers always gives us hints.. Haha! Looking forward to the end of my exams and meet all my friends. All the best to all my friends who are preparing for their exams too! 

Minoxidil

Visited the National Skin Centre for my second appointment yesterday. Waiting time for my turn was not too long. Doctor did a quick check and prescribed me a shampoo and a minoxidil hair spray. Seriously, i dunno whether the issue of this minoxidil hair spray is good for me or not. Whether i should be happy getting it or sad at the same time? Hais..

Like what people always say, minoxidil hair spray is a like a answer to all prayers to those who have hair loss problems for their entire life. I really dun mind using minoxidil but the thing that is making me afraid of is this particular side effect which is TEMPORARY HAIR LOSS FOR 2 to 6 WEEKS!! Yes..it means lossing more hair then normal on an everyday basis. Hais..losing even more precious hair is really too painful. Sad life..its like i’m only in my early twenties and i have to face such problem since i was in upper secondary? Blame it on my stupid diet plan which started this whole problem. Pls..just pray hard that i wun not drop too much hair for that 2 to 6 weeks.. I dun want to have patches on my head when at first it is not really that bad.. Rah..it is just so saddening..i have never been so afraid of bathing/washing my hair, wiping my hair and combing my hair until now. Guess nobody will understand how demoralising this is..only HUI does!! Lets counquer this together BESTIE!!

It was sending Jx off at the airport on Saturday night! Girls and I met up earlier in the afternoon to catch the 女人我最大 showcase at 313 Somerset. First time seeing the 3 artistes, Lan Xin Mei, Xiao Kai Lao Shi and Xiao Man Lao Shi. But they took super long to come, waited till we got kinda sian already. So we did not managed to catch the whole show and missed out the important part which is teaching how to make up and style your hair!

Roamed around town area and went to hunt for birthday presents. Managed to settle the presents quite fast..Haha.. Went to a Kinokuniya to take a look. Eileen and I were browsing the magazine section and we were really deciding for super long whether or not to get the bags that we wanted which comes in the magazine! Real headache..pondered for super long and in the end i decided to get the Anna Sui magazine because i kind of like the bag. Rofl..i can never say “No” to temptations. Eileen did not get any in the end. Went down to Terminal 1 to meet Jx for dinner at Astons and sent him off at around 11 plus at night. Bon Voyage!! Home sweet home with the girls after that.

6th March 2011:

Sat for my last prelim paper on Monday! Yes! My prelims was kind of screwed cause i did not study very much! *Guilty* Headed to Clementi first with Hui to had LJS for lunch. The food was err..fries were not very crispy and warm, chicken was a bit tough, and the worst thing was the Coleslaw was SPOILT! OMG..luckily they changed for us and gave us an additional chicken as apology if not i will be more sian. Bugis Street thereafter..bought 2 items, a pants and my high stockings! Woot! =) And for today, i feel so DAMN STUPID!! I bought the wrong prepaid singtel Hi! Card..*SOBS*!! I wasted like 28 dollars?! ZZ!! Heartpain about the money wasted..stupid information on the internet was so misleading and i did not know that i need another prepaid sim card in order to use this stupid card that i bought. In short it is like a top up card instead? Ahh..is there any person that is willing to buy?! Hais..

Pre-Exam Stress

Celebrated dad’s birthday yesterday some hainanese restaurant somewhere near Bras Basah. It was my cousin’s treat that day..Thank you!! =)

Cousins and aunties and uncles came to my house around evening for dinner and to celebrate dad’s birthday. Mum cooked and cousin ordered KFC. I had fried chicken 2 days in a row..how fattening~

On a heavier note, my prelims are coming real soon! Starting on next monday..zzz..with econs paper first.. I am so behind time..started like on 2 subjects and a half? Good luck to myself..luckily my prelims has no marks and is optional if not i will be so screwed :S My table is a mess now..and how i wish i will have a photographic memory and maybe studying will be much easier! Haha.. Till then..chaos my friends..will be back to this little space of mine once prelims are over =)

Sparkle Time!

 

Went to my dad’s side on the first day of New Year for visiting. My family and my aunt’s family reached around 12 plus to have lunch. Yummy food..i love my aunt’s cooking and all our tradtional hainanese dishes. Played mahjong with my grandma after lunch. Long time since the few of us had played mahjong with her. Glad that my grandma enjoyed it =) I won a little bit of money and my starting capital was only 1.50 -.- LOL! My newphew and niece are so adorable. My nephew kept singing the new year songs non-sop after his dinner. Rofl..real entertaining. Played with sparkles after dinner with all the cousins and the 2 babies. Reached home around 11 plus and i was dead tired.

初二：

Went to Dad’s side again in the early afternoon as a few aunts were coming back to bai nian on the 2nd day. More food on the 2nd day. Haha!! I just keep munching on all the new year goodies and i’m sure i will put on a bit of weight. My family then went to my mum’s side for visiting in the evening. Glad that my cousin brought a few card games to keep ourseleves entertained through the night. It was funny seeing the way 2 of my cousins played..Hilarious.. and i learned how to play bridge. Still a beginner though..Home sweet home after that games.

初三 & 初四：

Went to my mum uncle’s house early in the morning for visiting as we had to rush to one of my aunt’s house for steamboat in the early afternoon. I was craving for steamboat since new year’s eve and i am glad that i have satisfied my craving! Played some card games again and my family and cousin’s family went to another auntie’s house for visiting. I was actually a little tired when i arrived at my aunt’s house. So when my cousin asked if i wanted to come along to his gf’s condo to swim, i dun think i have any more energy left. Haha.. Went to my neighbour’s house for visiting after leaving my aunt’s house. Glad that my family did not sit for too long. Immediately when i reached home, i headed straight to my bed for a one and a half hour’s nap.

On the 4th day of CNY, Jx came to my house to bai nian in the afternoon. It was a last minute arrangement to drop by Vel’s house and Eileen’s house for visiting after that. Haha..i have finally stepped into Vel’s house after so long. XD Thanks for all the goodies =) Managed to drag Vel with Jx and I to go to Eileen’s house. We played mahjong for a short while and i was obviously rusty with playing Tai. But nvm..at least i learned it again..haha! Luckily we were not playing with money =)) Free learning fee.. Bused home with Vel and Jx thereafter!

Snip Snip Snip

Have been snipping my hair quite often these 2 months i suppose? Been trying different hair salons instead of my regular Chapter 2 which i always visited. Not anymore though, cause their price is quite ex and my usual hair stylist does not seem to work there anymore..sad..

I tried one hair salon somewhere outside Hougang Mall for around 3 times..its really cheap..think only 7 dollars? LOL.. But of course their skills cannot be comparable to those from a professional salon but still not too bad.. I’ve been trimming my hair every 2 to 3 weeks these 2 months..hais..my hair is not in a very good condition though..Weak Scalp, bad hairs etc etc.. Too many problems.. I tried Choices by Speed near Parkway today. Emm..their skills are not too bad la..i told the hair stylist to trim my fringe a little and now he cut a little bit of bangs for me..LOL!! Omg~ I’m still not quite used to it. Costed me 30 dollars!! It stated 25 dollars for a cut and in most salons it is inclusive of (shampoo, blow and cut) for that price right? I feel cheated la..lol..when the lady asked me if i wanted to wash my hair i said okay(obviously I did not know that it is an extra cost). Bill added up: 30 dollars -.- Waa..one hair wash costed me 5 dollars.. Nvm..shall let my hair slowly grow now..and save more money.

CNY IS AROUND THE CORNER!! I’M TOTALLY EXCITED!! =)
